You are supposed to do some modification! This isn't a plug and play install. Are you not following one of the MANY guides out there?

You might wanna look **** up before you start just tearing it out lol. The biggest piece of advice I could give you, especially for a bigger, more difficult project like this, is to do as much research as possible. If you don't know what to do, definitely don't start tearing stuff out.

its not that hard ive already ripped it out for my gauges, so this isnt that bad. im not trying 2 replace the whole dash. i just have a question on the fitment. i just want to know if i need new vents, b/c the 99-00 hits the 97 box vents when trying to put it in

You only mentioned air vents. Which are not plug and play.

Did you look at the DIY link provided? It's pretty self-explanatory how this swap goes.

Good luck with that. The ducting has to be replaced not just the vents. Can't do that without removing the dash. No where does it say the dash gets REPLACED. Oh. You already posted in that thread asking how to cut corners because you don't want to do the whole job.
Maybe you might want to find another DIY that shows how to get around it. Good luck with that too.

For some reason, I think you would look exactly like your avatar in real life, grumble.
