so i have a 1999 honda accord SOHC VTEC 2.3 F series engine. Automatic. I was planning on swapping the whole lot of it, but i have decided on building this engine.

So first and foremost, does anyone have any recomendations on which turbo kits/ engine build kits to either stay away from or to go for. I dont know too much on the actual brands.

I do know i want to do everything, internals, and add a turbo. i am not planning on doing this myself as i am not a mechanic, but i do have a trio of brothers who own a shop (i have seen there work) and are willing to do it for me at a good price.

Does anyone know what would be a good transmission to drop in to pair with the f series engine, but can handle between 200-350 horsepower? i am clueless when it comes to looking for things like this.

And differential, worth going for an LSD right? what about those? good companies and prices?

the car already has coils, after market brakes, intake, and wheels and camber. So this is my next step.

any info many thank you's
Honestly?

It's not worth it. The automatic transmission is what kills you. All the guys doing H22 swaps and such into automatic Accords are keeping them stock motor. A good friend of mine recently swapped out his F23 automatic in his '00 Accord for an H23 but I can't recall which ECU he used. It is still an automatic and performs well but he can't do much beyond where it's at. I do know he had to do quite a bit of electrical modification to the ECU (think he removed the immobilizer and a few other items) to get it to work right.

He's also been a Honda mechanic for years, has access to a garage and has done more swaps into different cars than I can begin to count.

Also the reason why people say to search or Google it is because the same questions are asked time and time again and the information is fully available out there. The Accord FAQ at the top of this section exists for a reason as do the dedicated subforums to suspension, forced induction, all motor, etc. Each of those having their own FAQ's.

No one enjoys spoon feeding day dreaming 17 year olds - it is a waste of everyone's time.

Ex: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-accord-1990-2002-2/im-looking-ecu-chart-my-96-97-ex-accord-3107318/

That swap (96/97 OBDII Accord with an OBDI H22) has been discussed and gone over 2 trillion times on this site, HondaSociety, AccordinglyDone, TopEndMotorsports, magazines, pretty much ******* everywhere. Follow those guides and you're good.

I could probably pick out at least 5 threads from each of the first 10 pages of duplicate questions.

i will be swapping out to a manual transmission too...no point in building or swapping a motor and keeping it auto in this car at least.....
i have been researching and i do know what i need to do...im just more looking for input on good companies to use for the after market parts....and i have not found too many "reviews" on that. thanks for the other info tho, ill check those FAQs out.

You haven't said what parts you plan to change, so it's a bit difficult to answer you. Hassport mounts and harness I recommend. I changed the ECU to Hondata s300 because of what else I want beyond the swap. The prior are just standard to me, so that's what I can offer you.
