Default Questions on Wiring over to OBD1

Hello HT

So I'm doing my first B series swap and I have everything down, but I have some questions about some wiring. The project at hand is a 1990 Si and the motor is a B20B4 out of a 98 CRV.

What I want to do is convert over to OBD1. So when I go to wire everything, do I need an OBD2 harness to switch over all the plugs onto the OBD0 harness? And are a majority of the wire colors the same for each sensor? (excluding the distributor) I still need to buy an OBD0-OBD1 jumper harness.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

you will only need the distributor, alternator and o2 sensor connectors. the injectors are optional, you can choose to switch to them or keep your factory si injectors. for ease i would just keep the stock ones for now. you may also want to look into getting an LS intake manifold, seeing as the b20 manifold will sit very high.

other than that your pretty much set. i know some people will say depin the distributor connector and repin it to obd2, but they are wrong. the pins are different. you can just cut n solder them on. if you need help with the wiring on it (where each wire goes) lmk i can help you out.

Thanks for the info. Yea I have an LS intake already off of a B18B1 that I will be using. I still need a few things before I begin the swap. I'll be sure to PM you if I have any questions on wiring it together.

Again thanks for the help
