i drive a 2000 civic SiR sedan...

i was driving the other day and noticed a strange noise from the rear passenger side wheel well. it sounded like something was scraping. i would only hear it from 20-25kmh. before 20kmh there is nothing and after 25kmh the noise is gone. i figured it was the brake plate scraping but it wasnt. so i decided to jack up the car and spin the wheel to see if there was something scraping...i dont hear nothing. so i figured maybe its the wheel hub bearing. so i replaced the wheel bearing with a new one. (the old one needs replacing anyways)

after that, i decided to drive it around and no luck at all. it is still making that noice between the speed i mentioned above. what can be the problem? please help

Have you checked your calipers, pads, and rotors for excessive wear, ridging, or hot spots? Your brakes might be dragging.

 

yes i have...my break pads are still very new. clips are all there too. its weird how it only makes noise at a certain speed.

still trippin out on that noise...i also figured out that while i drive between 20kmh-25kmh while stepping on the brakes, the noise goes away...help...
