I have a 97 civic ex and i got my head resurfaced. After putting everything back together there is a small knocking noise coming from the valve cover. It has a few nicks underneath it showing that something is hitting it. So I was wondering if anyone knew the torque specs for the rocker arm bolts, so i can make sure they are down all of the way. If any other advice on the small knocking noise on the valve cover it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced!

Sorry im kinda new too all this. But if you mean the valve clearance I went by the numbers in the service manual after i heard the banging against the valve cover. After i did the valve clearance, I put the cover back on turned her on and everything sounded great, but after i put my foot on the gas and revved it up a little, the banging started again. I dont mean to sound desperate, but shes been sitting in my lot for quite some time and i want her running perfectly again. Once again thanks in advanced!
