Sound-deadening Heat Barrier what do you use?
On my CRX I noticed if I sit at a stop light for a couple minutes and then start driving I feel heat from the engine on my legs. I feel it in the winter, but in the summer it's annoying because it's hot out to begin with. I figured the heat is going through the firewall and using some barrier I can keep it out. I really just need a heat barrier, but sound dampening wouldn't hurt. I saw dynamat sells some sheets, but I also saw brands like Summit and Eastwood selling cheaper sheets but seem to be the same thickness and quality. What do you guys use? What is the best heat barrier?
I figured I would put some small sheets around the hatch area and on the doors to reduce rattle, but is there a big advantage to doing the whole floor with it? Any experience/advice is appreciated.

If you really want to stop the heat, then you want reflective foil. However, that won't do anything for sound or rattling.
