hey guys looking for some advice on cams for a stock compression gsr ,i was looking at the edelbrock 4730 mainly for the low price but all reveiws have been on turbo builds. i already have supertech dual spring but was wondering if i need to do titanium retainers or can i use stock? also do i need to uprade injectors to tune with more agressive cams?

go skunk2 tuner 2. obviously any set of cams is going to benefit from supporting mods. not sure what else you have done but those cams seem to be a popular choice for mild builds

OP: I'm on a stock Comp GSR bottom end. I went with the DD-Tech Stage 1 Cam grinds!

Wise choice to get titanium retainers. For cheap and decent power check out blox type b. Or skunk2 tuner 2

if you are running mild cams and not revving much past stock red line they are just a waste of money.

My cams are perfectly affordable, PM me for pricing.

As far as VT upgrade, its always recommended , even with stock cams. Its one of the single most important things to upgrade!..
