Default Suspension set up?

I have been looking around a lot, but so far this is the setup i'm looking into. I live in colorado and like to go cruising a lot in the mountains and with all the turns, i wanted more sharper response and less body roll. But so far this is what I have been looking at:

Megan racing rear control arms/camber kit
Megan racing chassis brace
Beaks rear lower arm bar
Front strut bar
Skunk2 springs

Thoughts? Or anything I should add/take off/replace

I am unaware of any aftermarket replacement control arms. For camber arms go SPC or S2

These bolt-on chassis bracing kits do nothing but add weight

Again, no added benefit

No added benefit considering the front strut towers are well under the front windscreen, rigid already

The only real mod needed.

All in all, I'd stay away from Megan. Save the money from the pointless chassis bracing and put it into the suspension. If you want suspension work done, decent spring/strut combo with a upgraded rear sway bar is all you need for what you want to achieve (with corrected alignment specs).

Concerning the sway bar, you could either stiffen the rear or soften the front.

Lastly all the suspension work in the world won't make any difference is you don't have good tires, but thats a different discussion.

With all the money you were going to spend you could afford a decent shock/spring or coilover setup, and avoid aftermarket springs and stock shocks. I would look here http://www.redshiftmotorsports.com/ they make some great civic setups and they won't break the bank. I would definitely look at what they offer over anything from shunk2.

If you are going to modify anything on your car, use parts that are of equal or superior quality. Given the prices of Megan parts, it's very difficult to believe they put any R/D and QA into their products. This is why I'm a big proponent of OEM parts.

These are all my preferences, you can make do with what I have posted here.

HFP suspension, light weight forged wheels, wrapped in good rubber have worked quite well for me. I'm looking to upgrade the RSB to complete the package.

Hey h22boii. I have a '07 Si sedan with a rear Eibach sway bar, front upper stress bar and front lower tie bar. For suspension I used a D2 Racing coilover system for about 18 months. The worst suspension I ever used. Hardware quality is horrible. Ride quality just as bad. Money well wasted! Oh well. Lesson learned.
Last week I removed that crap and replaced my suspension with brand new dealer hardware (bearings, bump stops, bushings, etc.) and for springs I went with the Eibach Pro-Kit and for struts and shocks I got the Skunk2 sport shocks. The set up is perfect!!!
It is not harsh and the ride quality and handling is amazing. Got the shocks for $360 and springs for $250. Well worth the money. Something I should have done in the first place. Good luck!

Not bad, I am still looking around. It probably wont be until aprilish before I start buying parts, so I got time. Then rim wise, I have a set if ray's G games, but i don't lije the way they look on my car, so soon I'm going to try and get rid of those

If that's all you're trying to remedy then upping the sways front and rear will do.

Spend a few more bucks and get a good brand. You get what you pay for, and that definitely applies to suspensions.

Someone mentioned it in this thread. I would call up Chris at Redshift and talk to him. Very knowledge guy. He will point you in the right direction.
