Hey h-t I'm having some major issues with my car.
It doesn't like light acceleration or coasting when I go to press the gas there's just nothing and then it kicks back in under 3/4 or more throttle, when I press the clutch in while holding the gas down it'll go back down to idle and then bounce up to where im holding the pedal at in neutral. The coolant gauge goes all the way down.
I replaced the coolant temp sensor and no fix, swapped fuel pumps with my other civic and am having the same problems. I'm at a lose as to what it is. No check engine lights or anything unusual. Clutch is newer it's a stock 97 dx sedan 5 speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Where is the valve to put the tool on? My friend told me to check it but I have no idea where it is. I searched online but came up with nothing

You should probably get your hands on a Factory Service Manual. The procedure for checking fuel pressure is well described.
There isn't a valve. You attach the fuel pressure testing tool at the top of the fuel filter, replacing the banjo bolt that is there.
