obd1 p72 chipped w crome, 95 gsr w boltons

So im trying to put in a thermostat since previous had nothing there.

I gave up trying to get the lower bolt off and decided to take the starter off.

I didnt disconnect the battery like i should and when i went to take off the power and ground something sparked.

Now my car wont crank. Lights turn on and then when i go to crank it just clicks and all power turns off.

Is my starter bad now?

What hot wire? Im having this same issue.
