For those of you running Ground Controls in your Type R
Im planning on buying a set and i was wondering which spring rate you guys went with? A short reveiw on how it handles on the street/track would be nice...
I just read someone who recommended 400lbs front/300lbs in the rear....

If you don't have any extra chassis rigidity 400F/600R is the way to go. With low rear linear rates you will still have a car that understeers unless you set up the front with a lot of negative camber.
It turns the handling into totally neutral. Adding a Mugen 26mm rear bar dials in a little more oversteer. Adding a roll cage to the car turns it into an oversteering monster.
DDub just got this setup and is very happy with it - while at first being a little tentative about the decision. I've been driving/tracking the Type R for 3 years now with this GC setup and have never looked back.

does anyone know what spring rates are included with ground controls when you dont select them yourself? The ones it comes with when you just order "integra" springs from them; what rates do they include in that kit?

around 350F/250R if memory serves.
can anyone back that?

When I ordered mine I ordered them from the owner and told him what I wanted to do with the car and he just sent me out a package. I didn't think to ask what rate they are
. He told me was sending one step below "full race". He also told me he wouldn't recommend changing the struts, he felt that the OEM Type r strut was the best quality strut that I could put on the car, and recommended that I change them every 40k.
I went from H&R Sport springs to the Ground Control and I like the Ground Control a lot better. I have mine set pretty low(on top of 205/50 Azenis) with camber kits, and I love the way the car handles. It rides a little stiffer than stock, but still comfy.
