i just purchased a air research 60g turbo. and a jdm racing intercooler for 250. do you think i was ripped off? or no? the turbo has been rebuilt. and the intercooler has never seen the front of a car. thanks.

It really depends.

The intercooler sounds like an Ebay special and are fairly cheap to begin with.
The deal you got on the turbo is dependant on its condition.
Did you measure and check shaft and play, in and out, side to side?

A used journal bearing turbo shouldn't have any in and out play allowable, and should not let the turbine or compressor wheels contact the housing.

If the bearings and center section are good, I'd say you did alright.
