hey guys, on a 1995 Acoord, 4 cyl, 16 valve non-vtec, is there a way I can swap out entire distributors without having to set the timing?

make marks on the dizzy mounting flanges and copy them over. it won't be exact but close.

 

the dizzy mouting flanges? not sure what those are...I can just remove the 3 bolts holding to the cam and the whole thing will slide out, right?

 

yes, the dizzy rotates if you loosen those 3 bolts for timing adjustment.

make note of exactly where it's bolted up right now and copy them over to the new dizzy, bolt it down exactly where the old one was bolted.
