Default Sway bar feedback...

Hello everyone, Im new to the site, but not to the Honda game. Ive been building my EJ8 since Oct of 2004. Im coming to the part of fine tuning its suspension. I am curious as to what you guys recommend and what you have used. I currently have just the stock front sway bar, with none in the rear. I know the ASR brace will be on my buy list... however I am just wondering what Brand/Size you recommend? The car is mainly for drags, not auto-x or nothing like that.... but I would like to tighten the suspension up a bit....

Currently: Eibach Sportlines with AGX struts...

. You can use any 92-00 rear bar, or 94-01 integra rear bar. OR there is Eibach which is 17mm (IIRC) or a ST rear bar that is 22mm, and doesn't require a brace. Others like the 22mm ITR bar WILL require a brace.

Only real issue is there are no threaded holes on the subframe to attach the brackets, but thats easily fixed.

no, not drilling! the holes are there, but ther just aren't nuts behind them. You will need to add your own, or what I reccomend is calling ASR and ordering their backing plates and bolts!

where can you get the backing plates? I can't seem to find it anywhere, got a link? I'm trying to install a 13mm sway bar on my hatch. Are you referring to this piece? Can we use this if we don't have a subframe brace?

ASR will sell them to you. IIRC, about $14.

if you can't get them get 4 10mm nuts/bolts. Note, you will have to oversize the holes on the bracket that bolts to subframe, slightly. This is how I did it. ~2 years and going strong.

awesome! Thanks for your help. Im still debating on doing a rear bar, because I dont really "need" it.... but it would be nice to upgrade the front sway bar in the meantime....

Add a rear sway bar before you do anything to front! Adding a rear sway to these car is one of the best things you can do to it.

I would leave the front alone.
