What size sway bar?
Im going to be ordering SRR LCAs, ASR Subframe bar, and a Sway bar of some sort....
What is the best size sway bar? 21mm or 22mm or 23mm? and what is the difference?

personally, between 21 and 22mm, there's no drastic difference IMO. my friend has a 22mm rear sway on aluminum rear lca's and an asr subframe brace and it feels great.
i, on the other hand, have blox rear lca's and a blox 21mm and a tie bar and it feels much better. i have suspension techniq lowering springs and he's got h&n racing springs. i think it's the tie bar that makes the difference.
if i were you, i'd make sure to get what you're planning on getting, + a tie bar. sway+tie combo really help when turning and whatnot
hope i helped.

Re: (gsr x civic)
Thanks for the reply!
so wait, your saying to get a tie bar instead of a ASR subframe bar?
Basically im not all completely sure what is all available for suspension help in the rear. I already have ground controls and koni yellows for suspension ordered

koni yellows on ground controls are a great choice! i'm getting those asap!
i mean, i really love my tie bar + sway bar combo. i'm sure the subframe brace makes it more rigid, but i can't see it making such a drastic change. i mean it probably helps regardless, but i'd get the tie bar + sway bar first, then get the subframe brace later, which may suck cuz you're probably going to have to take all of it off and then put the sway bar and tie bar back on.
but if you have the money, get everything if you get the chance to, check out the blox LCA's. they look pretty cool. =]

how much did you get the koni / gc combo? cuz there's this place online that sells them for 850 shipped.
and i got my rear sway bar and lca's from my local shop for 280 with endlinks and new lca bushings and bolts etc.

wrong... even with the 21mm sway bar you run the chance of ripping the mounting bolts out of the subframe.. with the full brace there are mounting points so you dont rip up your subframe... im sure a tie bar would eliminate bending the subframe with a 21mm.. but you wills till rip it apart from the mounting bolts.

get the asr with the 22mm. be careful. the car is no longer idiot proof once you do this. as blue integra boy said, the car will be more prone to oversteer.

Re: What size sway bar? (honda_coupe)
tein flex, lowered 3" no finger gap, bsq kit with 23mm rear sway, and 24mm front. 1 year everyweekend at malibu, laurel canyon runs, and sprited street driving (taking turns at double the posted speed limit). never a problem.
you do not need an asr or other brace kit if your running a 21mm. unless you have an ek
i now run buddly club race specs, 3" no finger gap, asr brace, mugen 26mm front and 26mm rear sway bars.
anything more than 23mm i would suggest getting a subframe brace on a eg or dc. and a brace is a must on all ek's no matter what size sway bar.
23mm as far as oversteer was fine in dry weather, when it rained i always go really really slow anyways.
26mm forget about it, just make sure nobody is next to you and steer in the direction of the turn hope this helps somewhat
