jdm obd0 b16a pulley ignition issues
Howdy,
Basically this is the second timing light i used. This timing light has a 60 degree **** adjustment.
Ok, when i try to zero the light and adjust my dizzy, the lines are way off. Advanced or retarded thecrank pulley lines arent able to reach the timing cover line. Dizzy fully retarded is as close as it gets which is inches away.
When i adjust the timing light **** to 16 degrees with the dizzy fully retarded only then does the crank pulley lines become an inch away still not meeting the timing cover line.
Again dizzy fully retarded i adjust the timing light **** till the middle line meets and it says 22 degrees. New belt, no play on crank pulley. Crank and camshafts all line up.
Whats the deal? Is it the dizzy itself?
Any help appreciated
