Default K20 Cyl 4 misfire not due to plugs/coils/injectors. What do?

Did a quick search but couldn't find much. It's a 2006 RSX-S that is autocrossed.

I got cylinder 4 misfire 3 times but now it's bad.

First time I changed spark plugs and it was fine. 2nd time I made sure it wasn't plugs, coils or injectors by swapping. but the CEL & code only came on for a brief period.

Last night shortly after the CEL came on, the power steering was fading in and out. Then a few minutes later it died at 2MPH. It wouldn't start yet battery was fine. Flooded it, and eventually it started but died again. I could smell a lot of gas and a bunch of white smoke came out exhaust. Eventually it started and idled fine, nearly back to normal.

I let it sit then drove home. But there is still a clumpy sound (like little farts) from the exhaust, that is worse than it was when CEL came on for 2nd time.

Anyone have similar issue or know what it is likely to be?
I should do a compression and leakdown test right?

Thanks in advance

White "smoke" from exhaust = blown HG, most likely blown into cylinder 4.

I would be doing a compression test and a leak down test to confirm, but white smoke from the exhaust is never good. 94
