Icon3 Vtec not working :(

what up, I got a 94 ej1 with a b16a second gen with a PR3 ecu i got this problem that vtec isnt working i got check engine light codes 5,10 but i dont think that any of those codes have to do with my vtec issue, i need help plz

Did this just happen or happened since the swap?

Reset the ECU and see if both those codes return then answer the below questions:

10 is for the intake air temp sensor. Is it plugged up and if so what are the wire colors going to it?

5 is for MAP sensor, is it plugged up and if so what are the wire colors going to it?

well i bought the car with the swap done already it had the check engine light on but i knew that those codes were there, i know i need a new intake air temp for sure cuz it was broken when i took it off and im not sure about the map sensor if i need a new one but with that said ik i have it hooked up right because i check other threads, do those codes have to do with anything related with vtec?

Check your oil, if it is low, fill it up.
Replace your oil filter.

You'll have to fix that 5 code, what are the wire colors going to the map sensor or post a pic

VTEC fluid. Sounds like it's low. My VTEC "pop" started to fade, so I changed out the fluid and now it hits like new!

Check your wiring by the ecu make sure there are no cut wires...thats what happen to my friends car same problem same codes...

Make sure you didn't accidentally swap the IAT and MAP plugs. If so, your IAT is likely fried. Good luck not stripping the Phillips screws trying to remove it.
