B series or 8 psi of turbo??
Need help. Can't decide to do a B series swap or buy a turbo 8 psi? Running stock B18b1 in 96 acura integra. Looking for the least cost and the most amount of torque I'll be able to get. Also couting the cost of the boost control and fuel managment for turbo
most tq gonna come from the turbo route .. im not certain of how much it gonna cost to get a complete b series engine .. but goin turbo is gonna be faster for sure in the longer run
8 psi is irrelevent
what chassis?
what ecu?
what are you power goals ?
how much are you looking to spend?
8 psi in a forced induction build can be any thing.
pte 6262 and a 16g are completly different
for a reliable forced induction build expect to spend at the very least 2,200
other wise your just wasting your time doing things the wrong way.
use the FAQ in the forced induction thread here on H-t.

OP you need to do a lot more research. people everday ask these questions. and i personally dont think your ready to turbo yet.
You have a lot left to learn...start by reading through some of the threads in the following link

Posting questions on forums cant be considered research unless you have already searched and read through guides on boost etc etc etc and still have unawnsered questions.
only turbo i been in is a suburu but im pretty sure the turbo spool feels 10x better than vtec kick lmao.
i only like n/a because for 1 is yes vtec and 2 throttle response..
you need a to have a goal and go for it. i choose n/a because of the 2 statements above and also i only want to hit 220 whp. im not trying to be rediculously fast like some people want to be so they boost the hell out of a honda.
not my style. but as other have said, do more research..
