Car died while driving then got a P0335 code
As I was driving I can hear a whining noise then a few minutes later my car wouldn't respond to the accelerator then dies in the middle of the road. After getting it towed to the house I tried to start the car and it acts like it's going to start but dies instantly. I am getting a "P0335 generic Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit" code from the scanner. What's wrong with my car, or better yet what steps should be taken to figure out the problem? I will probably get my mechanic to come check it out but I'd like to get try before he does.
By the way, not sure if it has anything to do with it, but I think I have a bad clutch slave cylinder because my clutch pedal gets stuck half way after shifting. I already have the replacement part but not sure if that was a partial cause to the current problem.

Ok so the crank position sensor was replaced but still no start, then computer read vtec solenoid, so that was replaced but the car still will not start. There is spark, so I don't know where else to check.
