theory on if ill hit valves
b20a engine going for higher compression will be in a 89 4ws prelude.
little worried about hitting valves in my lude if I get slightly longer rods.
Im really trying to find out what it the longest I can go before I will hit.
I only have the block not rods yet so i cannot do a clay test thank you.
based on my math my piston will be dead flush with the top of my head gasket. and i know that the valve is open .010" at 5.5 degrees before TDC and open .020" at 8 degrees After TDC.
if i know that the bottom edge of the valves are more then .050" from head can i assume that I wont hit my valves.

can the mods change the title to "theory on if valves will hit" or tell how i can.
and no one has any import on this. I've talked to some people and it seams like it should work.

^^
this and/or change to a higher comp piston..
theres other ways to get power besides stroking.. and cheaper. Either way, a clay will be needed
