Anyone try oversized valves on an h22 using Pr02's
I crashed my head and tried to go with a ported head, which already has oversized valves on both sides. Can I run Pro2's on this setup or would the o/s valves likely cause interferance?
Basic build: 97 mm crank with k24 pistons/ forged f23 rods in an f20b block.

You should be able to run them, but you will want to do a v2v and p2v to guarntee no interference or contact anywhere

You can run them with that cam, but don't just put oversized valves in the head for the sake of having oversized valves. You can get 330cfm out of a stock size valve with a good port and make pretty big power.

you said it has o/s valves on both sides intake and exhaust. you need to measure that, you may not be able to run it w/o modification to the valve seat.
even if it only has o/s intakes you still need to measure.

I suspect you'll have to be fairly conservative with your cam timing/gear settings; Skunk2 is very explicit about not running oversized valves on the H22 with Pro series cams, I suspect they have done their research on it and know the issues. How high are you revving with f23-based rods? You might be better off with Pro1's and a little safer if you're not using the extra top-end you need for Pro2's.
