Hi everyone, I just came across a H22a from a 2001 prelude, price is good at $600, what is involved putting it in my 1995 Prelude, I still have the 2.3l with 5 speed...... Is it worth the hastle or should I just spend the extra and get a H22a ODB1? I have read about conversion harness's....... Thanks

 

Any thoughts or input guys, I dont want to loose this motor if its a do able project. spent hours last night reading through past threads, from what I read yes it will work, just need some guidance. What I need to make it work....thaks

 

To make it the easiest, I would just swap the wiring harness and all sensors that are different over from the H23 to the H22, including the distributor and external coil.

You will have to find the vtec wires from the ecu, and wire them up correctly to the vtec solenoid, and get another ecu.

Also keep in mind the exhaust manifolds won't bolt up, so you need a full H22 exhaust manifold and downpipe setup, or aftermarket header.
