I have a 99 civic that last year after sitting all winter had a slow start. It would start but after a long crank. Today it would not start. It has over half tank gas and I have tried starter fluid in throttle body, replaced battery a year ago and has full charge even put a battery pack on and no go. Checked battery volts while starting and didn't drop below 11.5v. Unhooked all grounds and cleaned even replaced negative with a 4 gauge. Replaced all 4 plugs with NGK and new wires. New cap and rotor. Took starter out and took to autozone they checked it 3 times and passed. Swapped the whole distributor out with a different one and still no go. Tried a compression test but the hand me down tester wont go pass 60 psi even after hooking up to compressor so at least know its getting that, I know its not enough. any insight???? Plan on getting new compression tester tomorrow.
