This coming spring I'm gonna put a B16a1 motor in my REX and was wondering what turbo setup i should go with??..Should I use the ls tranny or stick with the B16 tranny..I was thinking of sticking to the ls tranny becose the power band would last longer..but i'm not sure..I'm still a newbie at F/I..so any suggestions would HELP..Thanks.
SIR KID would you please come to the front? Jody where are you? He's got a nice turbo B16 in a 91 Si Hatch. I've got an LS turbo'd in an 88 CRX. Let us know some more details on what kinda turbo/setup you're looking for. Street/Drag strip, ect.
ummmm K, got a price range or a rough outline of what kinda parts you want to use? Can you do the work yourself? I think ya need to do a bit more research brah. High 11's/low 12's is pretty damn fast for a daily driven car. You're gonna need more than just power to make that happen and be daily drivable. Suspension/Fuel/Standalone upgrades are a must.

yeah i got 5 g's to spend..and was thinking if i should do custom turbo setup? revhard? or drag 3??..so any suggestions from yall F/I experts..like I said I'm a newbie on F/I..
5G's is a nice little wad to blow. But do some more research before you jump in feet first. You can spend 5g's on just a good turbo/engine management setup. Then another 5'gs on a built block, and another 5g's on a competely prepped chassis.... It's all in what you want.
5g's prolly won't get you very far if you're including the cost of swapping in a B16 with that. A b16 swap will run you about 2 grand on par. With a 3 grand you'll have left you could prolly get a decent junkyard kit put together, with a Zdyne SECU. You could run some pretty respectable times with that, prolly mid 13's with some good driving.
