d16y8 warped head problem?
hi i just got a d16y8 head a couple of weeks ago to do my mini me swap.
*note* when i gotten the full y8 motor, it did look like it was over heated before.
the first time i put the head on the block, i replaced it with a fresh head gasket (and also sprayed the gasket with copper spray).
when i started to put antifreeze in the radiator, i started to see gold flakes from the copper spray coming up from the radiator when i was bleeding the system (letting the car run with the heat on while inserting antifreeze) .and then i started to see milky oil in the head after a day or 2. (i didn't drive it, i just let it run)
i didn't drive the car, i just let it sit there and run just untill i've gotten my idling issue solved. (didn't let it run for long)
so after i've noticed the milky oil in the head, i've replaced the head gasket AGAIN. this time i didn't use copper spray.
i didn't drive it, i just let the motor run untill i've gotten the idleiing issue solved. (i know i just said that before but im telling you the whole process that i've done.)
soo i've gotten the idling issue solved. and i've noticed milky oil in the head AGAIN.
when i took the head off, it didn't look like it was warped.
i've torqued EVERYTHING down to specs. i've done plenty of head gasket jobs before, i've just never had a problem like this.
sooo, my question is, do i have a warped head?
i have a feeling i do, but its always good to have somebody else's opinion.
thank you.
P.S,
please don't tell me to "google it" because i did.
thank you again
