I know close to nothing about engines, that's why I joined this forum. My brother gave me a B18b1 LS engine in working condition, has around 170k miles. So I am rebuilding it as a project to drop in a integra when I can find a good one. I have the engine torn down to the block and the first thing I want to do is get new sleeves in it. I plan on Vtecing the engine and putting a big turbo on it. My brother tells me I should get it sleeved. I've been reading a thread that gives me everything I need to know but it doesn't have a sleeve part. So what is like the top of the line sleeves, or a couple of really good sleeves. I don't want to spend more that $400 on sleeves. Though if there is like a super good sleeve set for a little more go ahead and post it. I'll put the link of the forum I've been reading. you're looking at least $1500 for sleeve + machine work from a reputable company like golden eagle.

 

well then what is a good sleeve brand? cuz if i gotta spend that much might as well just get a really good set of sleeves

hit up golden eagle. they are great sleeves. but that $400 budget is not going to cut it
