Default engine check light with turbo

Can some help me i have a home made turbo kit on me B16 CRX and the check engine light comes on when the turbo gives boost.
Is there any way of making the MAP sensor not pick up the boost & showing the ECU a Plus PSI?
I have heard something about a check valve but don't know what it is and where it might go.
I have also got a Apexi Vfac but not wired it in yet, will this stop the ECU from seeing the plus PSI?

Thanks for your time and help

I haven't done this....yet. But I know you'll need a couple one way check valves, which you can get at a pet supply store, and also a bleeder valve for fine tunning how much pressure is bleed off before getting to the map sensor. These will be inline with the vacuum hose going to the map sensor.
I don't thinnk the Vafc will fool the map.

You def need check valves. Your best bet is to get some from a 80's accord on the Vaccum lines at a junk yard. If you need some I could probabaly sell you some, I think I may have a couple left, email me at cwbetb@aol.com

The pet store ones are crap, mine got stuck alot so I switched and never had a problem

check valves or go to the yard and look for some 440cc injectors, get your vafc in there and turn it down about 40% .

Or you need to get a Missing Link Bypass valve from ImportParts.com or someone like that. They are around $60.

why spend 60 when you can go to a pet shop and get check valves for under 4 bucks.
