90 accord engine rebuild or swap?
there are a lot of factors that can go into making that decision. Skill level, time frame, intended use, performance goals, budget... and so on.
also, it would help knowing why you want to rebuild. does it need a rebuild? are you trying to make more power?
my personal rule of thumb/strategy: if a vehicle is still drivable/dependable, find a spare motor to rebuild then swap it in.
you decide if the replacement motor is identical to the original or an upgrade. either way, if mileage is low, plan to replace most of the seals, timing belt and water pump. If it's high (or junkyard pull) tear it down and do a full rebuild.
this should give the best results. enjoy.
