obd1 gsr swap problems need help!
ok so i bought a 96 ek hatch with a gsr swap when i first got it i noticed it had the wrong ecu in it (p75) i switched that out with a p72 i drove the car and when i would floor it, it would break up and not go anywhere but if i ease into the gas it will go. the car also will not hit vtec. the previous owner wired a rsx gage cluster in it the rpms are the only thing working. i check my plugs and they are fouled out...i changed my plugs took it for a ride and it fouls out...i changed the map sensor i checked the wires and i noticed it had a ls distributor i dont know if that matters but i changed the cap and rotor anyway now the car will not start!
any help please let me know

I had the same issue with my gsr in my 91 civic. It sounds wierd but i had two vaccum lines wrong. I reran them and it instantly stopped fouling my plugs. I just googled obd1 gsr vaccum hose diagram. As far as the distributor goes, get one for a gsr. As far as i know u need a vtec dist. For a vtec motor. Hope this all helps
alright so i got a conversion harness for the new obd1 distributor put it on adjusted the timing on the dizzy checked my engine timing the plugs arent really fouling out anymor but I cant punch the car or it will just studder and break up if i ease into it the car will go but anything punching over half throttle the car will break up any suggestions?
