d16a sputtering

Default d16a sputtering

okay 93 civic ex d16a swap z6 IM, 4-2-1 header, and cai. other than that stock.
i need help with the sputtering, it sounds like its misfiring and theres soot all the way up my bumper idk what this could be maybe fuel pressure regulator? im lost, and also new to the honda game ha

any help is very much appreciated!

check timing
plug wires good? In correct firing order?

new ngk plugs and wires, and timing is on exactly and spark plugs go 1-4 starting from timing side of motor to tranny side with firing order of 1342.

You have an OBD0 engine in an OBD1 car. Give details about the swap. For example, what ECU? And what CEL codes?

soon to be chipped p28, and iat, iacv, and map sensor cel's everything else as wiring goes is obd1 and hooks right up besides having to change the connectors for the distributor

also the car does accelerat fast high rpm range and sucks gas all the time i think it has to do with the misfiring
im just stuck and really want to figure it out because im planning on boosting

You need to fix those codes.

If you reset the ECU do all three codes return?

Have you checked for swapped sensor connectors?

i have reset and they all appear and yes theres a sensor at the back of the motor by the oil filter that has no connector, and the air conditioning connector is unplugged other than that everythings there

also i've changed map sensor 3 times all used but different and the cel still comes back also bought brand new iat sensor and code is still on, and the iacv has been swapped from the junk yard.
