Default Broken Turbo or Still Good? please help

sorry just another noob, tried looking for pictures of broken turbo but all i come across is turbo with damage blades and this turbo looks like this. I am not sure if it is still good or not, but please help.

*note, blades are not damaged anywhere

It does spin but no very long, maybe 2-3 seconds spinning freely only. I heard that spinning freely is good but idk for how long it should spin.

Well, would you rather spend a few hundred now to rebuild it or chance spending a lot more for the damage you have to fix when it goes ka-boom?

Ok I am set to buy a rebuild kit but...

Even if I buy a rebuild kit it won't fix the part that I pointed out in the picture..
or is that part that I pointed out fine and won't effect anything?

:/ pics kind of suck but it looks like it was ground off. Thats what they do when you get it balanced.

It looks like it was cut finely by something, but just on one side too.
I guess after a rebuild kit I'm set to go, btw..

This will be going in my ls/v

If when the compressor housing is on and you cant make it touch the house when pushing on the shaft then run it journal bearing turbo's need to have some play so if its not hitting the housing and no end to end play then run it don't be scared

ok, so what i got from this is that.

it will only spin for 2-3 sec like what i have? it's not rough, pretty smooth too.
and it doesn't have a lot of shaft play.

so i'm good to go on this turbo then
oh and those marks was just to balance the turbo
