im starting to do research on it, but i want to know just the pros and cons on it. And what other people think about turbo.

Even a stock rebuild would be fine with a little boost. The key for the motor to run good and long is have it tuned by a good tuner and the motor will run great. Break it in or have it broke in on the dyno and tune it!

There's no reason not to turbo it IMO. I'm actually in the process of rebuilding a bone stock GSR (B18c1) for a friend and he intends to boost it. A stock B series with a proper tune and appropriate fuel is safe in the mid 300whp range...so stop setting goals in terms of PSI. As far as you're concerned, boost pressure is only relevant when choosing a MAP sensor...and I'll make that easy for you, get a GM 3bar map sensor if/when you boost.

Read the Forced Induction FAQ and start to wrap your mind around what exactly is involved with this project. Members here will help you on your way, but they wont spoon feed you everything
