Hey Guys i was doing a radiator flush the other day on my car and i turned on the engine after i was done but before i closed the hood i heard a funny sound like a click sound it could be just me but this sound has me concerned anyone know what it could be i hear it from the engine/transmission

well it you do need a valve adjustment. sounds like its ticking bad. start with that

 

The ticking noise is clearly your rockers slapping your valves. Just an adjustment to fix it back to good. Don't quote me but from memory the 'lash' is set at 0.007 (intake) and 0.009 (exhaust) and set with the motor cold NOT AT OPERATING TEMPERATURE.

Call your local tec and dealership...It will give you better horsepower and better MPGs..and wont be so noisey
