Default B series with K series axles and K series cv joints?

This is pretty much a copy of another thread. I have a few that would like more information about this so i figured put it in here and see if there is some more info over here for them

Ok I know I've read it somewhere on Honda-tech that people been running there b series swapped cars with k series Axle's to be able to have the stronger 36mm outer cv joint... For the life of me I can not find any more info on what has to be done to do this, which axles are used and what mod's have to he done to do so ... So if anyone has any info on it is like to know

And if anyone is having good luck with this set up Thank!

Some actual part numbers would be great also

i ran 90-91 prelude si hubs. you use the inner race's of the prelude wheel bearing and the rest of the integra bearing. you can then run accord outters with the big shaft b series inner's and shafts. and you can keep 4x100 4 lug wheels.

By "in our car' are you referring to the one in the sig line 9.19 at 16x mph. If so that's rather impressive.

Yea. Mo_Spec and meane30 built and race the PFC hatch. That is PFC right there.

I got mine used with tho hole spindle. And just used my old integra bearings and the inner race's that were on the hubs. There is a used Honda parts place on eBay that has several sets of spindles. They have the stock axles also. You may be able to run the prelude axles and not have to make your own.

Just a heads up for those doing this, the oem Honda/Acura axles use larger shafts and stronger cv's then the autoparts store brands. Basiclly the oem ones are stronger.

No, Im pretty sure they're the same outer as a GM 4wd truck. The outers on my 5.9's and the front axles of my truck look identical

I beg to differ, my 2000 ITR had 36mm axles as well as my buddy's 01' ITR! 97' and 98' ITR's might be the 32mm axles.
