Icon3 93 honda civic ex d16y7 swap

okay im at a loss here 93 civic ex d16y7 recently fixed idle issue, ecu issue and alot of other **** just tuned up and runs great a little rich because of bad sensors i believe but im stuck!!

so here's the problem i'll be cruising along and whenever i want to just beat on the little thing it'll accelerate until about 4500 rpms then all the sudden its like its starving for fuel or air!? and the rpms will build so slow it seem like its not meant to go that high. but in face the block says d16a (d16y7) all stock besides cold air intake, and 4-2-1 header! pleassssseee help!

It doesn't sound that bad. I had one before, and honestly, its a slow engine stock or with bolt ons.

What ECU are you using?

A d16A is different than a Y7. (obviously, lol...I am just stating the obvious here)

Is that a check engine light on the left or the gas light?
