Default Issue with a fuse

Me and my father are working on our '92 Honda Accord LX 4dr. We just did a water pump and a timing adjustment and wanted to get it running properly but now we have an issue with the brake/horn fuse popping as soon as we start putting it in. Because of the fuse popping we cant get the horn or the brake lights to come on. When we turn the headlights on we get the lights in the back to come on but not the brake lights themselves. When we check the fuse with a multimeter we are getting +30 amps. Got any ideas for my to throw at him?

look for wiring diagram and trace the wires to make sure they're not shorted. sounds like you moved or shorted something when doing the timing job.

in any case, look for the factory service manual and go gremlin hunting, sounds like a shorted wire somewhere.
