Driving down to Atlantic city today for a business trip ( )

i had brought my radar detector along in the SL500 i was sitting in..

all of the sudden my radar starts beeping like crazy in a way i never heard before. it sounded like jingle bells song on crack...

then i saw my display and it read "L-A-S-E-R" ...

this is a new policy i guess for NJ...i wonder how its possible as they deemed laser inadmissable in court b/c it was so inaccurate.

 

Jerk off NJ State Trooper would park his car on the low divider between Express and Local behind an overpass on Rt.80 West by Hackensack and would stand outside next to his driver door open and aim the Laser gun at individual cars at 7am in the morning this past summer. My old Passport 4500 would go off in L. I am waiting one day someone not pay attention and
goes off the road and take him out!

 

Where was this at? On the Expressway?

BTW, I saw a PY ITR on 42 South in Washington Twp last week...couldve been you I guess? Cant be too many Hondas in that area that arent littered with stickers or APC wings...jesus christ its horrible there...

not too informed on speed tracking devices... whats so threateing about lasers as opposed to regular radar?

 

you get gunned with laser, you are done. unless you have a cloaking/jamming device.

 

State Cops have had LASER for awhile now. I picked up Laser too on my way to NJ.

jersey's been using laser's for quite sometime now. very accurate when it's clear out. the debate is over bad weather such as fog, rain, sleet, hail, etc.

 

how do you get 5 tickets in one month??

In Massachusetts, more than 3 traffic violations within a year is grounds for license suspension. Florida must have lax laws; how are you still driving?

I cant believe the amt of **** driving around that area...my head shakes more every day. I dont blame domestics one bit for hating imports so much. That is all theyre exposed to, and its literally overwhelming!
