i blew my d16y7 on my 1996 civic dx id like to know what i would need to do for this swap?

As long as you stay within the same year range, motor and ECU. It's a fairly plug and play swap.

-find a spot on your intake arm for the intake air temp sensor
-convert IACV to 2 wire (if your car is 5 speed)
-extend 2nd 02 if you use the y8 exhaust manifold
-wire up VTEC and knock sensor
-use 96-98 P2P ECU
