Swap problems, d16y7 to d16y8
I have searched and can not find an answer, I have and engine out of a 97 Honda civic si (d16y8) auto transmission and I swapped it into my 99 civic hatchback, using my d16y7 distributor and harness, car runs off my stock ecu, but I have the p2p computer from the 97 si, what do I have to do to get that ecu to work, it will plug in but no spark and fuel pump does not prime but runs when winding over.
My understanding its a obd2a computer and engine but I'm using a obd2b complete harness, I am hoping to use this harness and wire up the vtec, wgat can I do to get this to work
Thanks for the help been trying to figure this out for days

You don't want to use that p2p unless your car is auto. If your car is 5 speed you'll need a 5 speed p2p and will need to wire up vtec, knock, and the 2 wire IACV using a 5 speed intake manifold.
