b16b starts but don't stay running
Hi everyone. I just completed my swap this morning and when I went to start it, it starts up and then it dies after 1 second. it's a stock b16b motor and trans. The only non factory item I have on the motor is a golden eagle fuel rail and a fuel pressure gauge. When I unplug the iacv plug it idles for about 5-6 seconds then it dies. There are no vaccum leaks at all, I'm soo lost please help. Thank you in advance.

Well you have to have fuel, spark, and air for it to run.. Do you have a fuel pressure when it dies?? Sounds like the the fuel pump is priming but not staying on when running but if you have pressure when it dies thats not the problem.. Does it stay running if you give it gas? Make sure the tps and map sensor plugs are not switched..
plenty of fuel, pressure is around 46-47 psi and when I give it gas it just dies as well. Im using a chase bays harness so not sure how anyone can mess up the plug locations. in one loom there were three plugs the iac, map and tps, the shorter of the two must be the tps and the longer wire must go to the map, correct me if im wrong.
In the loom with the IAC, MAP, and TPS, the MAP is the longest wire. The middle position is the TPS and the IAC is last. So you are correct, the longer wire is for the MAP. What chassis do you have this in?
