Default 1990 CRX OBD0 TDC sensor issue

The problem i'm having is that the dizzy went on my CRX so i built a dizzy from a " new " D15 unit as my car was losing spark but was fuelling ok.

Now the car has spark but no fuel.

The ECU is flashing up 8 which i'm told is TDc sensor.

My question is, will a bad TDC sensor stop the ECU from telling the injectors to go?

Fix code 8 and go from there.

Generally, the crank sensor (code 4) is the one needed for the ECU to determine the injector timing.

Thats what i was told from another Honda head.

I'll take this dizzy apart for the 4th time, change over the TDC sensor and , fingers crossed, try again lol

Measure the TDC sensor resistance and Ohm test the two wires.

What should the readings be for the TDC sensor if it's good?
