Default Stock block b20v (b20z + pr3 head)

Bout to do a b20vtec in my DA
Have a couple questions, I'm looking to just make
The car stock block because it's kinda my daily & I don't want another
Money pit like my hatch but want a little more kick then the low comp b20 I currently have
So I'm gonna pick one up from Moshi moshi

This is what I'm thinkin though

99-00 b20b short block
1st gen pr3-1 head (milled .02)
Skunk2 intake manifold
GsR camshafts.
Inline pro headgasket
ARP headstuds

Gonna go obd1, but a question I have is would a p30 manifold be better then the skunk2 pro series manifold be better for my set up, since I'm going stock block I know it's not rev friendly so id like to make the power down low. Is 8k ok for stock rev limit or should I be aiming a little lower, im gonna be running it on a j1 b16 cable tranny, anyone have any similar set ups or track times? Also any write ups on hooking up a pcv system when going b20v. Also anyone that comes to mind when mentioning b20v tuners? I have an s100 p28 I'm thinking I'm going to use. Should I upgrade the gsr cams for type r?

Thanks.

If you are ok with it being low comp.Arp rod bolts should be higher in your list.Needs to be tuned as well.Adj cam gears to get timing correct. B20vtec conversion kit.If you have the sk2 mani why not just use it. New bearings im sure will be mentioned as well.

I would stick with the P30 IM if you are staying in Cali. Also the rev limit will more than likely stay the same.

Cam gears are not needed piston to valve is to tight if you adjust them itll blow up with stock b20 pistons leave em 0,0 if u have them. I have a 96 jdm b20b 8:8to1 bottom end with a stock stock R head and R cams R intake manifold and 96 R tranny. It made 190whp and 145wtq. on s100 and 93 octane. the 99-00 bottom end will give u a small bump in comp but it really doesnt matter. but yea 99-00 block and b16 head and gs-r cams should easily make 185whp no prob bro. and skunk manifold will outflo the obd-1 b16. and 8k will be fine even without a girdle but u will need a fuel pump and injectors. i maxxed my stock pump and R injectors out at 190whp and fuel took a dive hard after 7k with the stock ****. hope that helps bro
