Default broken lugnuts

so i just bought a 04 sedan and wen i took off the hubcaps i noticed i only have 2 studs on the passenger side and 3 on the driver side. i got and dx vp model, autozone sole me sone that wont fit for ****, i had to do alot of cutting hammering and still they didnt fit. so i called another autozone and they said that the vp model has special studs? is this true? and now what do i do about autozone sellin me the wrong **** and tellin me it as cooll that i had to fab to get em to fit? idk, thanks for the input, if any

What were you cutting? I thought you have to remove the hubs in order to press in new wheel studs on the front? The rears should be easier than the front. And as far as thread pitch on the studs, they should be the same... LX DX EX.

nope, the studs for the dx vp are special, i just got them from honda and it went in fine, no removal of hub nesscery, all you gotta do is slide the stud in, put a nut and a lugnut on the other end and tighten it right in.. i as cutting my heatshield. but its all fixed now. thanks
