Ngk spark plugs
Fireball external coil
Ghetto rigged dizzy cap

Well i test drive the car driving at normal speed. Shifting at 3k.
Everything checks fine
Put when i put the rpm at 7k+ or redline
#14 fuse always blows??!!! It is the alternator fuse
It ends up not starting so i had to replace the fuse on the spot
Then it starts right up

What could be the prob?

 

Have the alternator tested.

 

Had this problem when putting load on my engine quickly. It would move just enough to short the alt wire on the case. Check that your charge wire is secure.

i had the same problem, was my alternator.

 

tested the battery and alternator i think it checked out good.

battery car off-12.13
battery car on-13.93
alternator car on- 14.37

 

Redo you voltage tests at high engine rpm.

Fuse 14 protects the alternator, fuel pump, IACV, ECU, and EVAP solenoids.

 

Redid my voltage test and it doesnt really change.

It is at 14.30 and it changes by a little like 14.32,14.29
Revved at 4k rpm+
