Default No heat in my 99 d16y8 please help

Ever since i bought my car completely stock about a year ago it had no heat. I didnt drive it very much last winter so it didnt bother me. Now its my only car and the heat still does not work. I have tried everything i knew could be the problem, i changed out the thermostat, flushed out the heater core, did an entire coolant system flush, coolant is topped off, but still have no idea whats wrong. Has anyone else had this problem? It has a turbo in it now but it didnt work before that so i know that didnt do anything to it. Thank you for your help.

Make sure the lever is connected under the dash.

Yep I looked under my dash yesterday and found the cable disconnected.
Nothing worse than freezing in your car.

The enviromental controls .... behind it will be a metal cable wrapped in plastic that leads to your heater core...

Make sure your headgasket isn't the problem, D16 turbo builds tend to have issues with them

So i went under the dash today and messed around with the levers and switching from hot to cold. When i went to full cold, the lever from your pic above turned all the way to the cold side, but when i went all the way hot, it only moved a few notches, no where close to the full hot. So i pushed the lever with my finger all the way to the hot side and then i got a lot more heat than i had before. Guess the cable just didnt push all the way to the hot. Thank you guys so much! and d15vtech for the pic so i could find it. You guys saved me from the winter lol

Glad to help man. Yeah, it didn't sound like an engine coolant problem. Get that taken care of and you should be goodzo.
