I just got a 95 civic with the b16zc,has turbo and a ton of mods.Its making a chattering noise i think is coming from the top end. I've never owned a turbo car or a civic for that matter.I want to know if this is something normal for these motors or if i have a problem.The car runs great and has plenty of power.Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Identify exactly where the noises are coming from and stop guessing. If it's not obvious once you stick your head under the hood get a mechanic's stethoscope or similar tool and try and track it down. There's nothing that you've told us that can help you identify it.

 

chattering noise like a valve tick, or like an exhaust heat shield rattle?

and edit your title, you either have a b16 or a zc, Id assume you mean d16 zc...
