95 Civic engine making a terrible nose
My son has a 95 Civic EX that is making a terrible noise from somewhere in the engine compartment. It starts up fine, runs fine, and will drive fine but the noise it makes sounds like there is something broken off and it is clanging around somewhere in the engine. Any thoughts?
P.S. as if you couldn't figure out, I know nothing about cars. Thanks for any help.

a fucked up throwout bearing sounds terrible as well...but i'm pretty sure that's only @ idle
if its happening all the time and the car drives fine, something is just probably loose. pinpoint where its coming from and go from there
