Car wont hit 2 step and or rev past 7k
I figured I would post in here as I have had the best luck getting quick, solid informative answers in this section. My car will not hit 2 step and or rev past 7k rpms. We are tryin to get the car ready for IFO this sunday and have ran into this issue. I ran into an issue where the car would not wan to stay running and was breaking up really bad. We got taht figured out as the IACV wiring was bad so we sorted that out last night and got the car idling and revving to 7k rpms. Once it hits 7k rpms though it acts as if its just hit a wall, begins to break up real bad. Not really sure where to look next to get this thing fixed.
The car has a new distributor on it so I have ruled ignitor/coil out. We reloaded the tune just to make sure it wasn't a tuning issue. We are going to put a timing light on the car and set it in Hondata, not sure if me putting the new distributor on would be the culprit for this or not.

Take a look at your TPS values. I had a car do the same thing. Drove perfect, idled perfect, and no CEL. It would not rev past 6800rpm. Ended up being the tps. Ecu would only see no throttle or part throttle, but never full throttle. It was very weird how well it drove with a bad tps.
We actually replaced the TPS last night because we thought that it might be the culprit, it wasn't. I checked every sensor on the car, even the IAT thats in my charge pipe. They were all fine. Finally said **** it and took it for a drive, wrapped into it pretty good and blew a ton of fuel out the exhaust (diesel status lol) after that the damn thing drove fine and hit 10k like it was its job.
Now we just gotta adjust the duty cycle since I put a 9lb spring in the car vs the 6psi spring it did have.

Dude, wire tucks are not recommended unless you've got a professional looming it up. You'll probably figure out your problems if you go back to a stock engine harness with solid connectors and wire routing. I thought you were gonna beat the quarter mile time from my White Bullet 4-door?
