Ok i have a 2000 Civic LX Automatic and just recently my shifter will not release out of park, i have to manually override it by instering a key in the shift lock release slot to shift the gear, also my brake lights do not work and neither does my horn, i have read about this topic in several different forums and all say differnt things, im wondering if anyone has acutally FIXED the problem or solved the issue and what to do and where to start.
